Portraits from portuguese and foreign people living in the area of Luzianes-Gare. Part of their story being told and also put in a personal frame of development I went through in coming into a different country and culture. In painting I found a way to reconnect to myself and connect to others and there is now the hope for this communication process to extend beyond this, among the people being painted and the whole community. Her being as well part of the process as witnessing it and having a benefit from the result of this journey. Thank you to everyone being part of this, in past, present and future.
